    The rules of operation and use of the General Reading Room and the Journal Reading Room during the COVID-19 epidemic

     
    GENERAL READING ROOM - rules of use:
     
    1. The General Reading Room is open to readers from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00
     
    2. For the sake of the safety of both the readers and employees of the Library, the temperature shall be measured at the entrance to the building, and each user of the Library is obliged to disinfect their hands and put on a mask.

    A user without a mask on shall not be served.

    - in front of the entrance to the General Reading Room, it is obligatory to re-disinfect the hands in a non-contact hygienic station at the entrance to the room.
    - in addition, readers are required to move around the Library in accordance with the marked "paths" for visitors.
    3. In order to maintain safety rules, the number of places in the General Reading Room has been limited to 50.
     
    4. During a visit to the Library, each reader may order a maximum of 5 book titles, 5 volumes of bound journals and up to 10 titles of current press at a time.
    5. At the Reader's request, the ordered items can be put aside for the next day.
    6. Library materials from the reference collection as well as the main collection (warehouse) shall be provided by the librarian on duty.
    7. Books shall be given out only upon presentation of a completed reverse (necessary data: reference number, author, title; in the case of a journal: title, year and number)
    8. In the catalog room, 2 computer stations with access to the ALEPH catalog are available to the Readers.
    Due to the limited number of computer stations, we recommend using your own devices.
     
     
     
     
    SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION DEPARTMENT (OIN) - rules of use:
     
    1. The OIN Reading Room is open to readers from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00
    2. For the sake of the safety of both the readers and employees of the Library, the temperature shall be measured at the entrance to the building, and each user of the Library is obliged to disinfect their hands and put on a mask.

    A user without a mask on shall not be served.

    3. After users enter the OIN Reading Room, hands must be disinfected once again.
     
    4. The OIN Reading Room can only be used by students and SGH employees (upon presentation of an ID card)
     
    5. In order to maintain safety rules, a maximum of 2 people may stay in the room, at least 2 meters apart.
    6. Readers have at their disposal 3 computer stations with access to on-line databases. It will not be possible to use the Internet on them.
     
    Due to the limited space, we recommend using your own devices.
     

    RENTAL - rules of use:
     
    1. The lending room is open to readers from Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00
     
    2. For the sake of the safety of both the readers and employees of the Library, the temperature shall be measured at the entrance to the building, and each user of the Library is obliged to disinfect their hands and put on a mask.

    A user without a mask on shall not be served.

    3. One reader may stay in the Lending Room at the same time, keeping a safe distance.
     
    4. A stand for the return of books has been created. Rentals, circulation cards and other matters are dealt with at a different stand.
     
    5. Readers who only want to return books may place them in a special drop-box in front of the Library entrance.
     
    6. Readers who wish to return and borrow books are served directly at the Lending Room.
     
    7. Readers who wish to borrow books must provide their reference numbers.
     
    8. Books are removed from the drop-box during the opening hours of the Lending Room.
